Wikipedia is now breaking news faster than the networks
There has been a number of articles pointing out when Wikipedians stay on top of the news in real-time, posting updates mere seconds after a story breaks. But the death of Tim Russert marks the first time that I’ve seen where news has broken on Wikipedia at least a good half hour before anyone was reporting it.
