Why doesn’t blogger Jon Swift support WGA writers?

Right beneath his pseudonymous title, “reasonable conservative” blogger Jon Swift has this to say:
Since the media is biased I get all my news from Fox News, Rush Limbaugh and Jay Leno monologues.
As has been well documented, Jay Leno has acted in direct opposition of WGA policy by pre-writing those monologues. “During the meeting, Leno was told that ‘writing for ‘The Tonight Show’ constitutes a violation of the [WGA] strike rules,” the WGA said in a statement after his show aired.
By continuing to glean his news from the monologues, Swift is showing his contempt for WGA writers.
What’s even worse, Swift has joined a Facebook group titled “1,000,000 Fans Strong for Striking Writers.
So not only does he not support the writers, he’s a flip-flopper as well.

Launching an unprovoked and scurrilous attack against a popular and beloved blogger of unimpeachable reputation such as myself is the worst kind of blogwhoring, even worse than starting one’s own award. Such a cheap attention-seeking ploy is not even worthy of a response.
Jon Swift has funny hair.
Plus, Irish food tastes better when it’s been in the pot nine days old.

You cannot imagine the pain I feel when one of my friends launches an unprovoked and scurrilous attack on me.
