This blog is just right
It’s the Web 2.0 version of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. My Twitter account — where I do all my micro blogging — is the baby bear. And PBS’s Media Shift — where I do long-form feature writing — is the papa bear. And then there’s Bloggasm, stuck somewhere in the middle. I have to say that sometimes I’m at a loss at what to write here. I kind of have it in my head that this is the place for mini op eds on the state of online media and journalism, but it’s not atypical for me to go days at a time before getting inspired to write these kinds of posts.
I’ve been putting a lot of thought lately into what I want Bloggasm to be in 2009. I have an idea for at least one regular feature, it’s just a matter of testing out how time consuming it is. Whatever happens, I don’t want this blog to lie dormant. I wouldn’t be in DC right now with a dream job if it weren’t for the work I did here, nor would I be writing for PBS if my editor hadn’t stumbled upon my feature articles.
I guess watch this space to see what happens, and always feel free to offer suggestions.
