The Mainstream Media ignoring the midwest
This article at Columbia Journalism Review argues that because there are no national news organizations headquartered in the midwest, that the region is being seriously overlooked. Anecdotally, the writer uses the 2004 election and the clueless pundits who were surprised that Bush won Ohio because they didn’t really understand the people living there.
