The future of online journalism?
Out walks Matt Drudge (well, not quite) and in walks Mayhill Fowler.
To this day I still don’t understand the appeal of Drudge. The only time I visit his site is after I’ve read another story about how powerful he is. I go there to say to myself, “Who, this guy? All he’s doing is linking to a bunch of mainstream news stories.”
i don’t understand the appeal of drudge either. the site is bland mediocrity. as you have pointed out it is simply an aggregate of mainstream news links.
