Phrase of the day
“The Oprahfication of America.”
Context: A journalist used this phrase to explain why celebrities check themselves into rehab after being publicly humiliated in order to try and dodge bad PR (examples: Congressman Foley, Mel Gibson, etc…)
I’m not sure whether or not Oprah should be flattered that she’s had a phrase named after her.
