Online advertising increase keeping up with print advertising decrease?

This is interesting, most doom and gloom stories claim that though readerships are transferring online, advertising dollars aren’t moving to the new form of media quickly enough. This Editor and Publisher article seems to contradict this notion, saying that the online advertising spending should increase enough for newspapers to continue to thrive.
