I am looking forward to seeing how this whole evaluating blogs based strictly on links works out. I guess you could assume (I hate to do so though) that the better the content the more links any given blog has. Still... that seems like a tough call when there are multiple streams of revenue. By regional/city/location-oriented, I mean that the blog has to do with a specific location. For instance, Gothamist is a blog that focuses only on the New York area.
