Comprehensive sites debunking 9/11 conspiracy theories
Via maddox (wow, not only did maddox actually update his site for the first time in forever, he actually linked to an outside source AND his posts was something better than “My balls are huge”), Here are two comprehensive sites that debunk 9/11 conspiracy theories. I haven’t gotten a chance to read through everything yet.

More than 3000 books on 9/11 have been published; many of them reject the official consensus that hijackers associated with Osama bin Laden and Al Qaeda flew passenger planes into U.S. landmarks.
9-11 Loose Change Second Edition Viewer Guide:
This guide is meant to be a companion to, not a substitute for, the video itself. For one thing, I had to greatly reduce the resolution of the video screenshots in this document in order to keep the file size manageable. The video looks a lot better. “Loose Change Second Edition” is available as a free bittorrent download, as a Google Video stream, and for purchase from the Loose Change website. The creators of Loose Change also have an internet forum where you can discuss the video and 9/11 conspiracy-related issues. I encourage you to sign up there and let them know how you feel about their efforts.
Fittingly, this is the second edition of this critique. The first was done in six long nights, because I wanted to hand copies of it to the creators of “Loose Change” when they were in New York to protest the premiere of the movie “United 93″ on April 25, 2006. Because that version was written in the heat of the moment, it contained more obvious anger and sarcasm directed towards the creators of Loose Change. That anger hasn’t abated, but cooler heads than mine have convinced me that cutting down on the “cutting” remarks should help me get my points across more effectively.

A lot of things don’t make good logical sense about the 9/11 crashes into the WTC and the Pentagon. First, let’s look closely at the Pentagon crash of the alleged Boeing 757, Flight 11. Over ten tons of 757 engines, steel and titanium, plus an airframe composed of a huge hunk of metal comprised the 757. I’ve been around airplanes extensively as a civilian CAP cadet for seven years in addition six years in the U.S. Marine Corps working with the avionics systems for the A-4, F-4J, the Harrior, the C-130 and others and I have also seen several crashes of planes exceeding 400 knots, and all of them left a lot of wreckage plus destruction to the ground they crashed on. It would be a scientific impossibility for a 757′s kerosene jet fuel to produce a fire hot enough to vaporizeover fr ten tons of steel and titanium. There would have been a lot of wreckage left over from the crash of a Boeing 757 into the Pentagon. Hence, no Boeing 757 crashed into the Pentagon. It must have been a much smaller aircraft to make the size of hole that was in the Pentagon wall. I have confirmed that the mention in “Loose Change” of an aircraft engine rotor, from a Navy attack jet, being found on the inside of the hole in the Pentagon wall is true.
So, it would be correct to say that a Boeing 757 did not crash into the Pentagon on 9/11/01. And it logically follows that, if such a large airliner, American Airlines Flight 11, did not crash, the passengers on board the plane were not killed. Hence, where are the passengers that supposedly were killed in the crash? You see, the old cliche, “oh, what a tangled web weave when we master to deceive,” tells us that there was a government conspiracy to make the public believe that Arab terrorists were on board Flight 11, and that 50+ passengers were killed as a result of terrorists causing the plane to crash. But the tangled web of the conspiracy, much like the Watergate conspiracy, the Iran Contra conspiracy, and, farther back, the Pearl Harbor conspiracy and the conspiracy surrounding the Mexican War, which was calculated to bring a declaration of war against Mexico, is very revealing if the reasonable person will look twice at the evidence pointing to an executive branch collusion in order to cause the American public to blame lslamic terrorists for the WTC bombings. For we can say with assurance that if the Pentagon crash was rigged by the U.S. military and executive branch intelligence agencies to deceive the public, the World Trade Center debacle was also rigged.
In the CNN videos of the collapse of the towers, secondary explosions were heard coming from the towers by numerous firefighters and policemen. Then the way in which the towers collapsed, within minutes of each other, was as if explosives had been planted to cause implosions which caused the towers to pancake, just like the demolition of an old delapidated high-rise building, like the Seattle Kingdome. Shyscrapers build as sturdily as the WTC towers would not collapse with the direct crash oif a jet aircraft. The heat from the jet fuel buring and exploding would not be enough to cause the towers to collapse. It would take additional explosions at diffeent levels to make the towers collapse. This is why I believe that the WTC towers were prepared for the explosions which caused the collapse. It is a fact that there was a security standdown 72 hours before 9/11. Bomb sniffing dogs were not allowed into the building in the hours preceding the bombing. It all sems to add up when you think of Dubya’s response to the WTC bombings while he was reading the goat story with elementary school kids. Had Bush and company rehearsed the attack so much that Bush thought that the bombing just another rehearsal? Just think about it and it will make sense t you.
The American public have been entertained over the last 96 years with fictional violence, diaster, and tragedy as a result of the availability of motion pictures, radio, and television. The average adult person in the United States is inured to the effects of bloody violence, which is enjoyed on a regular basis in the privacy of a living room.
This greatly concerns me because people who get their news and information almost exclusively from cable television and digitalized programming, and not from newspapers, news magazines, books, and professional journals are extremely impressionable to propaganda and the broadcasted images of public figures. Perhaps this is why 30 percent-or-more of the U.S. voting age population erroniously believe that Sadddam Hussain had weapons of mass destruction in 2003, prior to the preemptive invasion of Iraq.
“Because Dick Cheney, George W. Bush, Colin Powell, and Condi Rice said it was so, I believed and still believe it. A Presidential administration wouldn’t deliberately lie to the nation,” is an example of a typical response from one of these citizens suffering from media delusion. The electronic media have the awesome power to create public figures and to destroy public figures, according to how the salient facts are represented to a viewing public. With the use of almost instant satellite communications and the ability of the media to publicize what they define as news, an ordinary citizen can be made into an unwilling and involuntary public figure, and there is nothing the individual may do about it.
I’ve heard it said that absolute proof that Neil Armstrong walked on the moon in 1969 cannot be produced. Millions of American saw the Saturn V rocket engines fire-up to send the Apollo rocket flying into space. But after that moment, the only records we have that the mission was actually completed are the declarations of the astronauts and NASA, a few rocks certified by government officials to be from the moon, and electronic recordings and broadcasts. Couldn’t it have been faked? The movie “Wag the Dog,” showed the possibility of such an event being produced in a remote studio with the use of expensive electronic media equipment.
I can truly say, thank God for the Internet, and mean it. The federal government can successfully manipulate televison news and, to some degree, the prominent newspapers and wire services. But not the Internet. The tell-tale evidence that the 9/11 Commission either refused to review, or was ignorant about, that was adduced and heralded over the Internet about the Pentagon and WTC bombings, was, and is, the crux of what the necessary investigation should have been. If what is presented in the Internet video, “Loose Change,” is true, then the entire 9/11 Commission report is based on fabrication. If the evidence is true, the initial premise and conclusion of the 9/11 Commission, that the Government of the United States was not deliberately responsible, in any way, for the WTC and Pentagon tragedies, are false. Within the tome produced by the 9/11 Commission, it was inherent that the U.S. Government had nothing to do with the WTC and Pentagon bombings. The 9/11 Commission laid the entire blame on Arab terrorists for both happenings.
Do you suppose the outcome of the 9/11 investigation would have been greatly different if ten honest police chiefs had been picked from ten small U.S. cities to serve on the 9/11 Commission, to ferret out the facts, instead of politicians? I think so. What went through everyone’s mind at the moment the WTC towers collapsed was not an assessment of blame, but one of horror and tragedy. The average New Yorker would not have ever imagined that the executive branch of the U.S Government could be culpable of committing mass murder for the purpose of giving a newly elected president a mandate.
By all objective accounts, George W. Bush was declared President of the United States by the U.S. Supreme Court, not by the will of the majority of the voting age population. Hence, he entered office under a cloud of suspicion and impropriety, with no public affirmation, but with a secret agenda to make the public believe that Saddam Hussain was an imminent danger to the United States. But he couldn’t do this effectively without making the people believe that Islamic terrorists were attacking the United States. Then, on 9/11, George W. Bush became the first president in American history to declare war on terrorism. After 9/11, the 108th Congress and the American public falsely believed what the Bush administration presented to the nation, and the Congress willingly handed the sitting president the power of an imperial king, all of that he had wanted, in order to fight an enemy that wasn’t really there.
Like I said, it is difficult to believe that an American president could be culpable of mass murder, but history does repeat itself. Presently, the facts which have been carefully excavated since 1939 show that Franklin D. Roosevelt engineered the surprise Japanese attack at Pearl Harbor. The historians Dr. Charles Tansill and John Toland both have presented historical proof that FDR knew a week in advance that Japan was going to attack Pearl Harbor, and that he ordered the senior naval officers and army intelligence to not warn the Naval Command at Pearl Harbor. The reason? To bring the U.S. into the war against Germany in order to protect England. The facts show that FDR, 1939, made a secret alliance with Winston Churchill, promising him in secret meetings that the U.S. would soon be involved in the war against Hitler. This was at the same time FDR was assuring the American public that the U.S. would remain neutral and out of the war,
If it could happen once without the public realizing the truth, Karl Rove would surely concede that it could effectively happen again, with impunity. History is full of paradoxes. Look at the freedom-loving German pople after the First World War. Nearly the entire German nation supported a man who claimed that he could protect Germany, secure the Fatherland’s borders, and return the republic to its rightful place among the world’s nations. They gave him all power to do what he wanted to do. And Adolf Hitler destroyed the German nation. Will the American republic be destroyed by George W. Bush before he leaves office in 2008? Let’s hope not.
