Christian Website selling sex toys

Yay, a bunch of Christians who don’t mind embracing their sexuality. I found a BBC article that talks about a sex toy website run by Christians: Christian pair’s sex shop website

A Christian couple have set up a website offering sex toys and advice specifically aimed at married couples.

Stella and Stan Hagarty, from Bridgend, south Wales, say “sex is a great gift from God” and should be celebrated.

They set up the site after visiting a sex shop to spice up a wedding anniversary, but say they were shocked at the prices and sex aids on offer.

“Sex has that forbidden, dirty image but sex in marriage is God’s idea and it’s great,” said Mrs Hagarty, 32.

They don’t provide a link to the website, but someone else found it: Wholly Love.

Despite what the media (and some Church leaders) may lead you to believe, “Christian sex” does not have to be an oxymoron.

As C.S. Lewis has said, ““Christianity has glorified marriage more than any other religion: nearly all the great love poetry in the world has been produced by Christians. If anyone says that sex, in itself, is bad, Christianity contradicts him at once.”

I am glad to see that some Christians are loosening up a bit on the sex toy topic. Seems like they’re catching up with the times. Good for them. Feeling guilty about sex aids is really old fashioned and unecessary. Good for them.

My question is whether its ok for individual christians to use these, outwith marriage, in their own time. For teenagers, for example, it could be argued that tis prevents them from having sex and saving for marriage. However, it would also be argued that using sex toys before marriage will take away from pleasure within marriage - i.e. if the vaginal muscles slacken.

    Nice to know your opinions.
I’m a christian teenager and my friends own vibrators.

ABC1, it wont be right because God designed sex for two, and masturbation is a sin before God,

If you aren’t married then you don’t need to focus on anything sexual- period. This is from a Christian perspective. Sex is for marriage and so is all the oolala touching stuff. While you are young and single you need to focus on God.

Masturbating does not help saving sex for marriage. Being accountable, praying for strength, and not putting yourself in tempting situations is what helps save sex for marriage.
