Cause for rejoice: Perez Hilton shut down for a few hours
Many have already noted that Perez Hilton is possibly the worst popular blogger in the blogosphere. The asshole regularly steals and profits from copyrighted pictures. What’s worse, his commentary on said photos is the most shallow, shit-drenched rhetoric that looks like it came from an emo 14-year-old on myspace.
Well, justice was served for at least a few hours when his webhosting pulled his site from the web.
Popular Internet gossip columnist Perez Hilton had his Web site shut down for several hours after the company hosting it received a flurry of complaints about copyrighted photos being posted on PerezHilton.com.
After being silenced on Tuesday, the site was back online Wednesday but hosted by a different Internet service provider.
I honestly don’t get too heated about the copyright issue; I’ve been known to lift a few images as well. I just take issue with the fact that such a simpleton can gain notoriety and money with absolutely no talent or ability at all.
