I think this is pretty harmless, really. They are obviously christians, and they do what christians do: Spread the word. I think this is just their way of spreading the word, plus their way of trying to get a lot of christians to go to their dealership instead of elsewhere. If you go there and act really christian they might even make you a good deal.

Look at it from their point of view: They strongly belief that their religion is the best thing that ever happened to them. Of course they want to stand by it like that. Don't get yourself all worked up about this, it's just christians being christians. Can't blame a christian for being a christian.

I was inspired.

Dear Ford Motor Company,

I am writing to you about an extremely offensive ad by your car dealership Kieffe & Sons Ford, currently located in Mojave, CA.
http://www.kieffeandsons.com/
I was very offended by their radio ad that aired that showed a complete disregard for the beliefs of their customers, and other listeners.
How can Ford condone this discriminitory hate speech?
Does Ford have a moral code about only selling motor vehicles to customers that share their belief system? I would imagine if instead this ad targeted Jews, Blacks, or other minorities you would get massive protests, and possibly fines. Why is it suddenly OK to take potshots at atheists?
I am currently in the market for a 4 seater passenger car, but after seeing how Ford treats their future customers, I have decided to take my business elsewhere.

Have a nice day.

If you don't live near them, you can still lead them on by clicking on the "New Vehicles" link, choosing one of the more expensive vehicles, and then clicking on "Get an Internet Price". This will trigger an exchange between you and their Internet Manager, and may even be better than going into the showroom because their Internet Manager will have something he can actually show to his boss.

You can also plausibly claim that before you actually decided to visit the dealership for a test drive, you wanted to do more research on the company and found the ad.

If you can't go there, you can sent them nasty email via the 'contact us' button on their website. I did and I hope it annoyed them.

I'd love to play along, but that's thousands of miles away.

Sending a note to Ford to alert them that a Ford dealer is making them look bad might be a secondary tactic.

thats absolutely ridiculous. playing on people's prejudices and assuming that everyone who believes in god is a christian. but yet the govt cant interfere with the media and establish a fairness doctrine or else the right wing demagogues will cry about "not making as much money as possible" (see glen beck)
