ABC News interviews me

ABC News’s website has a new article up titled “Is MySpace Over?” I’m quoted a few times in the article.

It seems the meme in the media is: ‘social networking tools are soooo like over dude!’.

I still think that the old media TV news heartily dislikes competition to its legions of yapping and arf-arfing pundits and “experts” of everything and their ilk, and so do everything to put a negative slant on blogs, social networks and the like.

It is similar to, say, soccer being slammed in the US sports media – quite mercilessly.

Personally, I find Digg and Reddit quite good and fun to use (while being troubled with Digg super users who censor news items by downmodding them to 0 with one of their super user voters).

I am wondering how delete your myspace day really went. I wish someone could persue myspace to give us some numbers, i would really like to know how many deleted their myspace on the 30th. And, how many delete their myspace on an average day, just to see how many people were in the program.

I could of course email myspace and ask them but I am sure they would just laugh at me.
